Collaboration, Contribution
and Collective Impact

The CESBCY Evaluation Conference is being held in Vancouver, BC on Friday, November 20, 2015. This year’s focus is on evaluations of non-profit initiatives across the province. Its theme “Collaboration, Contribution and Collective Impact” is a tribute to the contributions of evaluation to gathering and analyzing data, communicating and sharing learning, and engaging in practices that shift thinking to support system-wide improvement. The conference brings together evaluators who play a breadth of roles within the non-profit evaluation world. Ultimately, the conference aspires to improve our evaluation communication, practices and outcomes, creating a powerful foundation for an engaged organizational culture. Conference participants will be engaged as active learners throughout the day, building a community of practice to support ongoing evaluation of non-profit initiatives.

The Conference Organizers

The conference is brought to you by the Lower Mainland members of the BC/Yukon chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society. CESBCY is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluation (such as managers, program staff and planners). CESBCY is a member funded voluntary organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia and Yukon with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.
